At Izzy's Angels, we see the value in everyone. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our organization upon: support, empowerment and progress. Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Izzy's Angels emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. We are just a couple of people who grew up in Brooklyn. We have seen the good, the bad and the worst here, but it's the place we have always called home. As the Guardians of Izzy's Angels, we feel we owe it to the community to give something back. We are driven to do our part in making Baltimore, and therefore by default, the world -- a better place. Some of the Izzy's Angels street family are people that at one time we called friends. They are not just statistics...each and every one of them is someone's family member. Mental illness, addiction and economic hardships are some of the reasons people end up on the streets or living out of their cars. We take action and empower individuals and communities. We aim to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
